Is there a free tool that writes and posts my social media for me?

Short answer: yeah, that's what PostAgent is. You hand it stuff you've already written, it turns that into posts, and it puts them out on the days and times you pick. You never open a blank box in the morning.

Result: Linkedin

why free schedulers never stick

You've probably tried one already. They're fine at the posting bit. The catch is they only move writing that already exists so the queue empties out, and around week two you quietly stop.

Nobody quits because scheduling got hard. They quit because writing something every single day is hard.

so what does this one do differently

It writes first, then posts.

You add your sources your blog, one article link, or just paste some text in. It actually reads them and writes posts out of what's in there. Nothing gets made up out of thin air, so it sounds like you instead of sounding like every other AI post on the feed.

You're not filling a queue. The queue fills itself.

what you actually get

  • It writes from your stuff. Drop in a blog category, a single link, or pasted text. It grabs the real article not the menu and the cookie popup.

  • Two clocks, not one. When it writes and when it posts are set separately, so drafts are sitting ready well before anything goes live.

  • One on/off switch. On, posts go out on time. Off, nothing leaves without you clicking. No second hidden setting anywhere.

  • Different post types. Plain text, link, image, gallery, video and you only see the ones that platform actually supports.

  • More than one account. Run two profiles on the same platform, each on its own times.

  • It tells you the truth. Every post says draft, scheduled, published, or failed and why. Nothing ever shows as posted when it didn't post.

  • Numbers that count both. How much got written vs how much actually went out, split by platform and by account, all-time unless you pick dates.

  • It pings you. When a connected account is about to expire, or something failed before a gap shows up on your feed.

  • Your own AI key. You plug in a key you own. Nothing's locked behind ours.

is it actually free though

No subscription, nothing per post. You connect your own AI key, and normal daily posting sits inside the free tier of providers like Groq. If you ever outgrow that, you're paying them directly not us.

who this is for

People who know their stuff and have no time to sit and write it out. Consultants working alone, founders, teachers, small agencies anyone whose reputation comes from what they know rather than how often they can post about it.

If what you really want is carousels designed or ads run, this isn't it.

what's working right now

LinkedIn works start to finish connect it, it writes, you look it over, it posts on schedule. More platforms are coming; the writing and scheduling part already works the same for all of them.

what it won't do

It won't make things up to pad a post thin source, short post. It won't read sites that block it. It won't design your graphics or run your ads. And it won't promise you engagement numbers, because nothing honestly can.
